I have wagered on countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
