I have gambled on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
