I have played countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or beat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet $20

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
