I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
