I have enjoyed millions of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
