I have played countless of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
