I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
