I have enjoyed countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
